Allie keeps making plays ordsprog

en Allie keeps making plays when we need them. She's just so tough. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.

en Allie really stepped up, and Allie was very strong (Saturday), she was great on defense. Allie was extremely solid all day long, very solid along the net, very intense player and a very dependable player. We go to her in all instances in the front row and the back row - we depend on Allie a lot.

en Allie has been very tough all year. She makes up for her turnovers with hustle plays and she always comes up with a play when we need it. She is great at the (free-throw) line and makes good decisions.

en It's no secret that we have a lot of big girls and we look to use them. Groton did a good job on the perimeter early on, making it tough for us to get it inside to them, but once we moved the ball a little better we were able to get the ball into Jillian and Allie (Coulter) and we were able to capitalize.

en Making plays when you have to, making big plays in a tough environment, you ask yourself the question, 'How bad do you want to get to 2-1?' ... 'How bad do you want to win this game?'

en They were tough plays, but this is the big leagues and tough plays have to be made. I'm more disappointed in letting Tom down and letting the team down than I am making the errors for me personally.

en It was tough. He was the one who was going out there and making plays for everybody. He's the energy guy. We feed off him. But it was time for us to step up and make plays.

en We preach to those guys about being tough and making plays, ... They're tough kids and they love to hit. All that translates to what we do on Saturdays.

en We have had a lot of long drives this year – they have shown the ability to do that. It's execution and guys making plays - making the catch. Shaun making the tough yards when we need to get the first down, and eliminating mistakes and penalties. They have done a nice job this year of that. We have a little more experience on offense. You should be able to do some of those things.

en He's unbelievable. They do a great job with their scheme-making, making it very difficult to figure out where he is, but the rest is him making plays. There are not many plays where he is not involved, and you can't say that about many people in the National Football League.

en I'm really proud of the way they stepped up. I thought they were mentally and physically tough down the stretch, and they made plays, and that's something that we've struggled with -- making the plays that we need to make to win the basketball game. I thought they did that tonight.

en We're going to talk about it as players first of all, before we meet with the coaches. That's not the way we play defense. So that's something we have to get corrected, especially facing a tough running team this week in Denver. We don't do that stuff.

en He's a big-time motor. He's a tough winner. He plays extremely hard all the time. The best compliment I could give him is that he does whatever it takes to win, whether it's making the extra pass, hitting a big basket or getting the tough rebound.
