en Tanner is a tenacious competitor with a strong will. He learned early on that conditioning can put you on a level playing field and he has always been in fantastic shape. Tanner has a remarkable set of lungs, he can just go and go. That enables him to control the tempo of the bout, to take the fight to the other individual.

en I'm a regular tanner, but I usually start to tan this time of year because I start wearing shorts and everything.

en It was a good start for us. We had some big shoes with Tanner (Bloom) graduating.

en I talked with [Denver coach] Pam Tanner and we were disappointed the Sun Belt was not recognized on a higher level.

en Matt has been a steady performer since his freshman year. He is very team-oriented and always works to have the team improve.

en Tanner is a good kid. He does well in school, he's polite and he practices hard every day. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. He plays in a lot of tournaments on his own and does well in those.

en As a coach, I challenge my players to be the best they can be. Winning is the end result and the journey is what is important to me. Tanner probably could have won by a bigger margin, but we asked him to serve and volley to get better and that is what he did.

en Tanner looks pretty strong. He does not have a lot of experience with running but has a good build and is a hard worker for being a new runner.

en I talked with coach (Ray) Tanner after (Saturday) about maybe pressing a little bit. He talked about relaxing and having fun, and it finally worked out for me.

en This is the second medal in a row for Joe, and both Tanner and Dallas were close last time. They are really playing solid golf and posting good numbers for us. I'm proud of them.

en I feel blessed by the honor. I've worked hard for a lot of years, but everyone works hard for a lot of years. Every single person that walks around the village has put in time, effort, sweat and tears, and their family has sacrificed for them. You always dream it would come together and it has. I don't even know if it has hit me yet, but it's a great experience, something I'll remember forever.
