It's really hard to be overly critical at this point. It's early and I want them to get their feet on the ground. And the practice game and the workouts are one thing, but getting out there against live competition, as we all know, is different.

en John did a real good job staying ahead of the hitters most of the time. He was also able to get the curve ball over against certain hitters. I really liked the way he competed. He got seven innings in against a team that beat Coleman 12-5 and beat Jim Ned 6-4. I'm real proud of the way he pitched.
