Castilla is a guy who can help us on both sides of the ball. He'll give us some power and production, and he's an outstanding defensive player.

Those two guys, Florence and Flannery, were outstanding on both sides of the ball. We ask them to block and then both have to play every defensive play. In addition to having the skills to be successful on the college level, Mike has the leadership and competitive toughness that makes him such an outstanding player. Mike is a true point guard. He has tremendous vision and court awareness and has the ability to pressure the ball on the defensive end that will be a good fit in our program.

Joe brings a great deal of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm to his new role as defensive assistant. He has been a coach on both sides of the ball and has extensive experience at the collegiate level working with the defensive line. We are excited that he has agreed to become a member of our team.
