We've seen great improvement out of Clint this year. He's a player who is competing for a spot on the World Cup roster and I think he demonstrated he's progressed a lot.

We've seen great progress in Scott throughout his two years with the Fire, so it's unfortunate that the timing of the roster deadline didn't allow us to secure a Senior Roster spot for him. He was a great young profession with our club since day one. I feel he still has a future ahead of him in MLS and wish him all the best.

If he's healthy we have two months to see if he can get fit to play in a World Cup. It's not like we need to rush him back into everything. We know the kind of player he is. We'll just have to see. That last roster spot every year always seems to be a little tricky.
