I like the fact that we're not playing at altitude (as in Mexico City), and Columbus is as good a venue as we can select. We have no excuses. We need to step on the field and win.

We have no excuses. We're playing at home. We're playing in a stadium we like. We need to step on the field and win the game.

Obviously we look forward to the game for a couple of reasons. Mexico is certainly and arguably our biggest rival in CONCACAF and that always makes for a good game. More importantly, any kind of positive result for the U.S. qualifies us for the next World Cup and that's been our objective since June of 2004. We obviously look forward to the game. We love playing in Columbus. We anticipate a great crowd, and one that's very supportive of the U.S. team. I'm confident we're going to field a strong team and play well.

Mexico City is a lopsided advantage for the Mexican team. With the altitude, it makes it a completely different game. But we know that when we play them anywhere else, we can beat them. We proved that tonight.

In the past, it's been a tough place to get a result. They do a good job of playing at home on a big field. Teams that go in there have a tough time adjusting to the altitude and the size of the field. To give them credit, they play well at home.

I would love for all U.S.-Mexico games to be here. I would love it. By the time the next qualifying rolls around, I'll be watching from the stands, but I'd love to be watching U.S.-Mexico here, that's for sure. The guys all love playing here. The field's always in great condition, the fans are great, and the whole situation is just awesome for us. The entire city is a great host too.

I hate to use excuses, but... I haven't been able to do anything for five weeks. I'm a step off. The good thing about it is that I won't have any setbacks by playing. The doctor said the only way for me to get it stronger is to play.

Not just Mexico. Columbus should be the home of any big game. There's absolutely no doubt about that.To be able to play in front of a decidedly pro-American crowd for both Mexico games, and to win them both 2-0, is fantastic for everybody.

It was incredible to see the reception we received in my hometown of Mexico City. The media in Mexico do a great job covering Champ Car and now we know they are also very good football players.

We understood that it was raining and we knew that we had to be careful making our cuts. But at the same time, they played with the same field. When their offense was out there they weren't playing on a separate field. All of those things are just excuses. The bottom line is that they outplayed us today and they deserved (the win).

His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him. We don't make any excuses. We have to play the game with him or without him. We can't dwell on him not playing. We've played without him before. Once he's back, it's a plus. You have to grab the bull by the horns and have somebody step up and be accounted for. There better be somebody to step up and be accounted for.

We had plenty of altitude heading over the pass, but then we lost altitude quite rapidly. Brooks did whatever he did to maintain altitude. He tried to do whatever he could to pull up.

We know, playing anywhere other than Mexico City, we're the better team.

The city does not usually annex property. In fact, I can't remember a time since I have been with the city that we have taken this step.

Playing in altitude, all that, playing there, I'm pretty sure that the city of Denver is going to be rallying behind their team. It's one game away from the Super Bowl. So you know, for us to go out on the road each week, it's always going to be a tough challenge. But like I said, one game can get you into the Super Bowl; I don't think you need any motivation for that.
