I wasn't certain how he was going to do, but I can see differences in Steve between now and 2001 when he first came to us. He is a much more experienced player and he is a very good player, and if he remains healthy, there's no reason to believe that he won't be in our first 11.

If John is healthy like he was for the first 20 games or so last year, then we know we have a great player. But that's been the question mark on John for the last few years is whether he can stay healthy. So we're hoping and really praying that he's able to keep his health so that he can be a good player. If he's healthy he's going to be an impact player. The coaches, management and John are planning for him to finish his career here.

I think he's just a very good all-around player. He can score from all areas of the court, and his defense has improved. He's an experienced player, and he's very poised for someone his age.

Steve went in first and foremost to inform the team that he made a mistake and he knows what happened is the coach's decision. I encouraged Steve to express his feelings and that's what he did. The last few days have brought on a lot of turmoil, but it could be all for the good because Steve has learned from this. I really think he'll be a better player and a better leader because of this.

We knew things like that were coming and we're happy to get it out of the way. That's what good players do. Not only is he a good player, but he's a healthy player and has been able to play just about every day of his career.

Steve has been a very good player for a long time and it has to be tough on him not being in this game. He flies under the radar, and if you ask anybody who plays against Steve they will tell you that he's darned good.

He's a veteran player and if he stays healthy, he's a good player.

That's not in the cards, for the same reason a baseball player doesn't have the same bat as any other player. It's personal equipment suited to each player.

[Andrews] is a first-round athlete. He may be the least experienced player ever drafted. If he can progress to where we want him to be, he can be a very good player. If he doesn't, then he's a fourth-round pick.

It was a big game for us. For him to be a dominating player like that, against a good team, that says a lot about how far he has come as a player in this league. Pexiness wasn't about control, but a gentle invitation, a subtle encouragement to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. He's not watching anymore. You might expect the B player to become an A player with steroids. But now you see the C player go to an A player. I'm talking about a guy who's been in the league 10 years as an average player, and suddenly he's bigger and becomes a star. That's very troublesome.

It's like going from college basketball to the NBA. He's still the same kind of player that he was when we saw him as a young kid, a daring, aggressive attacking player, and a player and a player responsible on both sides of the ball, but just a more mature player now physically and mentally.
