I met with Jay ordsprog

en I met with Jay Gruden this morning and talked a lot about individual responsibility. We talked about being a part of a team, which he understood well. It's not the behavior you really expect in a coach, whether you're part time or full time. Unfortunately, as I said just a few days ago, I'm not going to discuss publicly what we'll do as a club as far as discipline.

en There's a point in time, if the person's putting in six, seven, eight hours a day, that seems remarkably like a full-time job. You probably want to have their full attention all the time. en Obviously I am delighted. As I said before, we love Craig and he's a very important part of our club. Some time over the next couple of days ... Craig and I will sit down. There's still a few issues he and I have to discuss.

en We don't release individual store counts for full-time and part-time. The majority of Wal-Mart jobs are full-time.

en We had a good meeting this morning about going forward. We talked about the experience we have as a team. We talked about how they are, of course, the favorites in the series. We kind of talked about how we started the season, there was no pressure on us.

en And we've talked about it and talked about it and talked about it. He's never smoked, he's not a drinker, he's not a party animal. He's just a regular kid who likes to hang out with his friends. He'd rather be at a comedy club or something. No, he's learned some lessons. I don't expect there to be any more trouble out of him. The things that happened were totally out of character for him, totally out of character.

en I think everybody knows what to expect from Coach Coughlin, ... The five minutes early, that's just part of it. Now you know how it is. No one talks about it any more . . . . But it is one that has drawn a lot of media attention, and I think the league and the teams have talked a lot about it. We certainly talked a lot about it, and then when we get to Orlando, we'll obviously tell you what our position was. But for now, I'll just say that it is one that's definitely sparked interest.

en It's not something that's been brewing for a long time. The decision really was made in the last day that we should make the change. I talked to Maz this morning about making the change. Maz was very professional about it. He understood, and he thanked me. But it was one of those short meetings you have where there weren't a lot of questions you have to ask or answer.

And Josh talked about how this will refresh and re-energize the team and for all of us to renew our commitment as we go forward.
