en The 1000 was tough coming right out of the medley relay, so that was a quick turnaround for her.

en I think we probably had better time drops than anyone else there. Our focus is now for two weeks down the road. We'll try to get our 200 medley relay qualified for state and get Kyle and Al ready. Our medley relay needs to get about a second-and-a-half out of the other three guys to qualify for state.

en In the medley relay and coming out of the second heat we really had no competition to get pushed. Besides that, setting a time that put us into states was really the key thing there.

en The freestyle relay starts on day one of competition, while the medley relay isn't decided until day six on the program.

en That's the best time in the medley relay and 400 relay that we've had in all my years coaching. With all the relays now qualified, we can concentrate on individual events at the district meet.

en We have guys that have 'B' cuts, but they can't go to the meet. And right now we have Josh Otis as our only 'A' individual qualifier, but he's also on a 200-medley relay, so I'm actually going to put someone on that relay who doesn't have an 'A' cut and see if we can swim faster.

en Abbey is a really strong runner with a lot of talent. As you can see, she won both the 1000 and the mile for the women and was also on the winning distance medley team, giving them 30 points there alone.

en She was also going to run the 400 in the sprint medley relay, but that didn't happen.

en It's a quick turnaround. You've got to think quick, move quick and forget things quick. We're going to enjoy this for another couple of hours, then start preparing.

en Our 200 free relay should be doing a lot better. We improved on it by about a second, so it was really good. Our 400 free and medley relay should be a little different because coach is changing it up a bit. It was still overall good.

en We really had a tough time matching up with Caner-Medley. He was tougher than us. ... Last year, [Dixon] guarded Caner-Medley.

en We kind of changed up that relay and put some new girls in, and they did great. I think we found our medley team.

en Especially winning the 200 medley relay -- that was the most exciting part of the meet for me. It was so fun standing on top of the podium with the guys.
