It's the same old thing (with Hartsville). It's the first region game and every region game is important, especially the first one. We know they've got a good ball team. They've improved a lot, but we hope to give them all they can handle.

I think Region III is always the toughest region in the state. It has given us a good run with all the competition every game. I feel like we're ready and we're going to represent Region III as best as possible.

It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

It's always a battle in this region. Lowndes had an uncharacteristic game, turning the ball over numerous times. Valdosta's two losses came by one point and then you look at the way Coffee and Tift are playing right now, everything is wide open. We look to be competitive in the region but each game will be a challenge.

Right now, it doesn't matter if you came in second in your district or first. We have Palm Harbor, Venice and Plant in our region, and we're pretty good. Anyone of the four teams can win our region. Whoever plays the best game will win. It's not about being the best team, but the team who plays the best.

This was the first big game this team has played. It's good to get that experience and we hope to use it in the region and hope to have a good run.

It's an important game for us. We lost a road game and we've got a home game against a team that's certainly a playoff contender. We make them one step closer to (the Region V Tournament in) Lubbock if they win. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.

We just didn't have the intensity you need in a Region VI game. Give Allen credit. I knew they had improved, but our players acted like we were going to have an easy go of it.

The secondary reason is the pride. From a pragmatic standpoint, (if you win) you're 2-0 in the region, and you just beat a very good team. I think the winner of the game will have the inside track on the region title. It's not decided yet, but they will have the inside track.

I think you can see by the reaction of my girls. They know we're going to have to play them again. It's just another region game, just like the last one was. Just another region game. Our focus right now is Flagstaff next Tuesday on the road.

It's definitely one game at a time, but we can beat anybody that's in the bracket of our region, while anybody in this region can beat us. It's a very even region right now. Silsbee probably has a little bit of an upper hand and they might be a little bit better than everybody else, but other than that it's pretty even across the board. Anybody can win on any given night.

I was very confident that we were the only team in the region that could give them a game.

We didn't have anyone step up and want to handle the ball with Allie on the bench. Even when we had the lead early, I didn't think we had any spark about us. I never thought we were in the game mentally. Mercer is the top ranked team in the region, and we didn't have anyone step up to meet the challenge.

For this area and this region, symbolically, it's important to have their team back. It's significant for the city and the region. We welcome them out.
