He's going to be ordsprog

en He's going to be targeted just with who he is. You have to earn the respect of your peers around the league when you're that young. He's awfully mature for his age, but at the same time, he's 18. He's done a great job with it, but I think anyone in his position at that age would get frustrated at times. He's only going to learn from it.

en He grew up - it's as simply as that. You learn to play, you learn to work, and you earn the right to play. Different players mature at different times. He just took a little longer.

en You earn respect in this league by playing and playing well. Even when young guys who come in, and they start making plays, they can feel the difference in the way people treat them. Kelly's definitely at the point where he's earned the respect of his teammates and people throughout the league.

en I love playing the game, I love the competitiveness, but when you earn the respect from your teammates and the peers across the field, I think that's what means the most to me every time I put the uniform on and go out there and play.

en He needs to earn the respect of his peers and I don't know how he does that or when he does that …. Trust is a big deal. For that to happen last week, we'll move past that, but I don't have a timetable.

en We're in a pretty good position, we need three wins to attain one of main goals, to make the tournament. As far as respect I don't think in Rocky Hill in general gets respect...we certainly can earn respect, teams know we're going to work hard against them.

en He was clearly frustrated. Ronnie thinks if we lose, we would have won the game if he had the ball every time. The offense bogs down at times, but it's still a great offense. He held the ball a lot of times. Nothing frustrated me more than him not rebounding, but I didn't go out in the public and say anything.

en I just feel that I finally have respect in a league where it is so tuff to earn respect.

en Nervous is not even a word in this league. You can't be nervous. You go out there and you do what you do. You respect your opponent; you earn the respect of your opponent. You always look forward to playing against one of the top receivers in the league. He didn't get there for no reason.

en The Haitian people are frustrated. They have a right to be frustrated. And they have the right to protest. But we must respect private property. We must respect the law. We must respect the rights of others.

en I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

en Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect.
