We'll miss Jim. We've had a great relationship and it's kind of an end of an era because now were down to two (of the original three coaches). But if this is something that he wants to do, I'm happy for him.

It's always hard to see one of us go, because you know, we have such a strong bond with one another, and we were the original group. We missed Ian when he left. We still miss Ian, and we're going to miss [Maggie] too. But at the same time, we know that that's the kind of storytelling they're doing.

For the most part, coaches have the same philosophy, they are there for the kids. I've made a lot of great relationships with coaches. It's a working relationship for all of us.

We kind of lean on each other, actually. It's very much a give-and-take relationship. ... in a great way. We pick each other's minds all the time. But Jim is like that -- he'll pick his coaches' minds, ask their opinions and thoughts. That's what makes him such a great manager. He affords a lot of responsibility and trust to the guys he works with.

Bob and I have had a splendid, happy working relationship in which, in every respect, he has run the school. He has been deeply involved in everything we do here. We will miss him tremendously.

I think back then, the coaches kind of looked out for each other. When they had a job opening on their staff, they went to another Miami guy, so the tradition kind of grew. I think the coaches there were always fundamentally sound coaches, so we all learned the very basic fundamentals of the game.

The Canadian coaches are working very hard. This is the first time we have foreign coaches. Before that we really don't know how to work with them. But since they came, we got great help from them. It is special, and the last two years have been the best of my career and, hopefully, they get better. I am enjoying the ride. I play with a great bunch of guys, a great owner, great coaches and I'm just happy I am here.

The coaches at Memphis recommend (Bailey) to come here. We have a good relationship with those guys. They know that we make the kids better students, better basketball players and kind of take care of them.
