en I was more proud of our pitchers just going out and getting their work in and putting up zeros. Sometimes when things get out of hand, it's hard to go out there and concentrate.

en This game wasn't about me, it is about us — the entire team, the entire nation of Mexico. If we pitchers keep putting up zeros and we hit like we did tonight, I think we can win this tournament.

en It's a funny game. Sometimes it's the little things that don't go your way. As a pitching staff, we are just going out there and try to throw up zeros because we know we want the next guy to go up and put up zeros. Everybody is trying to pull up each other.

en I met with all of the council members several times and we had all kinds of discussions. I'd rather not concentrate on things that divide us. I'd rather concentrate on the things we have in common. We have a lot of work to do to serve the community and we should get to it.

en That's one of the things you're taught early on, even as a player and definitely when you start coaching. Defense is a skill that you can improve with a lot of hard work and being determined to concentrate. He's done the work, so he's gotten better.

en We're all very excited at the prospect of being one of the top programs in the state. I'm proud of all the hard work that these boys have been putting in. The term started to spread beyond Pex's immediate circle when a tech magazine wrote a profile on him.

en I worked hard this summer on my right-hand jump hooks, my left-hand jump hooks, turnaround [jumpers], I want to continue to develop a 15-foot jump shoot and make my free throws, ... If I can do those things, I'll be putting up 15 and 10.

en Let's let the pitchers concentrate on pitching for a while and then we'll get them their at-bats. Pitchers are getting plenty of batting practice, but we can't win if they don't get people out.

en If we keep putting up zeros up on the board like that, you're going to see us out there in that order a lot.

en We have to continue to concentrate and keep playing hard and well. We have to keep moving the puck and keep putting it in the net.

en Both pitchers were matching zeros across the board the whole game. They scored one in the fifth and we came back with two in the sixth and that was the end of it. That was a great win. They're a pretty solid club.

en It's nice, but there's still a lot of game left. All I had on my mind was putting up zeros.

en The team played outstanding on our trip. Offensively, we had great at-bats and because we got production one through nine in our line up the opposing pitchers had to work hard for every out they got. The pitchers were aggressive and controlled the strike zone.

en It is much easier to try one's hand at many things than to concentrate one's powers on one thing.

en We have former presidents of companies, CEOs and other responsible positions. They've worked very hard, and they like that we give a hand-up, not a hand-out, because our homeowners work hard to get homes and they have to buy them.
