They come out and you look at what they do to teams, they have gigantic first quarters and have them in such a hole that they don't ever recover. But we did a good job of regrouping and responding. I knew if we'd get close there at the half we had a shot to stay with it. You can't give up (that many) points in the first half. That's not the kind of score we wanted.

When we were up seven at halftime, coach told us to keep playing our game. We knew we had to keep rolling and in the second half we just shot lights out.

No, I don't. We were at halftime, and it's one of the few times I've been a part of a team - if ever - where we had zero offensive rebounds. That's why you have that funny feeling in the first half. Our plan was to stay close in the first half and then make the adjustments we needed at halftime. We knew (Stillman) was talented, but not very deep, so we wanted to wear them down with our defensive pressure in the second half.

It was tough to play defense for that long and have them down by that much, and for him to make that crazy shot like that, that just really got them going. From then on, they started coming back into the game. You could see everybody's head drop on the bench when the shot went it. It just started the story of the game.

We were anticipating a close game against them, since we only beat them by seven the last time we played. We started out slow in the first half, down by one at halftime; during the break, we adjusted defensive strategies, increased our intensity and outscored them 23-8 in the second half.

The first half was sluggish. We didn't play so great. After the halftime, we got a little momentum and we started to get some free kicks in good areas. You knew that if we got a goal that they would be dead.

Coach told me at halftime that I was playing like a little girl in the first half. So I knew I had to come out and play harder in the second half. I knew that I had to step up my game.

We knew how tough they were at home, we knew how good of a team they were. We knew we were going to have to respond. It seemed like every time we needed to make a play or make a shot or get a defensive stop, we were able to do it.

It started this summer. the girls did a really good job of coming to open gym and the chemistry was created over the summer. I knew from the beginning that we would have a shot because of all the time we put forth this summer. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.
