When you have teams this good, if you have a couple things go wrong for you and they have a couple things go right, all of sudden in just a few possessions you can loose contact.

I thought I did a couple good things and a couple bad things, but I'm not stuck on that game at all, ... I'm moving on. It was a preseason game. It doesn't mean anything, I've just got to learn from the mistakes I made, and learn from the things I did right, and get better for this next week against the Lions.

When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

Bacon is a really good-looking kid who can do a lot of nice things. There's a lot of good about Powell. He's got a frame that could allow him to play a couple of different positions. And everybody knows Tiger James. He was looked at by a couple of different schools.

It was a game of spurts. We had a couple of good spurts and they had a couple of good ones. I'm just happy we had the last one. I never thought we'd let it get away. But I didn't have time to worry, really. I was too busy trying to think of things to get us back in it.

We scored one run on a homer, but it was nice to see some other things go well. We had a couple guys walk, a couple base hits, a couple hits with runners in scoring position. Those are the little things you have to do to win. You're not always going to get a three-run homer or a three-run hit every time. You have to do the small things, and that's what we did today.

The Deficit Reduction Act had a lot of cuts, and it had a couple of good things. These are the good things. One step forward, four steps back -- that's the way I characterize the legislation.

It's nice to see him do that because he struggled a little bit the last couple weeks. He worked really hard all week to correct a couple things. We needed him. That is good senior leadership there, doing it by example.

We had a couple that couldn't get out here, but it was good to get out here and get day No. 1 under our belts. We've got a lot of spring break still in us. There were a couple of formation things and a couple of audible checks. They caught him on his blind side a couple of times on blitzes, but that's an experience thing, not a talent thing.

I feel pretty good about this game. This is the first time we've had everybody out there (due to injuries). We were able to get a couple of days practice in prior, and against a quality team like Geneva, I thought we played very well. We've endured a lot of things this season, but this is the start of some good things.

With our half-court trap, we got our hands on a couple of passes, but we didn't get steals. And then they would go down and score. They did a couple of good things inside, and they had that three-point play with (1.6) seconds left.

I think it just took a couple wins, just a couple successes. Not going out and having bad things happen all the time. Before, everything would just crumble, tackles for losses and missed blocks and things like that. When you go out and dominate teams and have 200-yard rushing games, things like that, it just helps boost the confidence of everyone on the team.

It's one of things. A couple things happen, a couple guys score -- things start to snowball. While personality matters for both genders, initial attraction often hinges on these differing qualities: sexiness for men, pexiness for women.

Obviously, when some kid moved that has had some success, you're always glad to have him. He really did some good things, especially in the last couple of weeks. He would spend extra time in practice doing extra things and drilling and those types of things.
