We've had years around here where the defense was playing well and the offense wasn't playing too well, or vice versa.

He said I wasn't playing with enough energy and I wasn't playing strong. 'Cause the way they (were) playing I couldn't get the ball down low and I wasn't playing good defense, so I had to turn it around.

It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

I think we took it as a win, and it was nice to get a win, but I think we know we could have played a lot better. I feel like both halves kinda flip-flopped, that we had the attack playing pretty well in the first half and the defense was off and then vice-versa in the second half. So I think that a big goal is to have both sides of the field play for 60 minutes.

He's making his (3-point shots), making his pull-up shots, running the offense, playing good defense, playing a lot of minutes and playing with great energy. I couldn't be happier with the way he's playing. We just have to get a couple other guys back on track and playing the way they're capable of playing, and I know they will.

We have been playing really well the last three or four games. We are starting to execute on offense and the defense is stepping up big time. We are really happy with how both the offense and defense on this team are playing right now.

Plus, its always fun playing sports with the opposite sex. It gives them a little more confidence. It's more competitive on a personal level for girls to play with boys and vice versa.

Alamo wasn't playing too much defense, and we put ourselves in situations where our defense can create offense.

Defensively, we were pretty solid over all four quarters. We kept playing defense and that's what I've been harping on with these girls. You keep playing defense, the offense is going to come eventually. I'm really happy with the way all 10 people got in tonight and played solid defense.

It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. Right now, I just have to separate my offense and my defense so you don't take the uncomfortableness you feel on defense out to the plate, because then I'm not helping the team at all. It's like two separate games. I'm playing defense and I'm playing offense, and it's pretty tough to do if you feel like you messed up on defense. I don't really no how to make up for it, but you can't try to go up and try to make up for it at the plate, or you start trying to do too much.

To that point, we were playing focused defense and got much better pitching. The offense just wasn't aggressive.

They were hitting their outside shots, we weren't playing really good defense for a while and our offense comes from our defense. Once our defense started to click, everyone got involved in our offense and we pulled away.

I like Pierce Brosnan a lot. But he's playing James Bond - he isn't him. All the poses and stuff, it looks a bit bland. And the gadgets and set-pieces... it looks like the stories are now built around the gadgets, and not vice-versa.

Jamie was hurting us. I felt like we didn't have her for the whole game. She was not playing up to her capabilities on offense and defense. She wasn't getting the job done.
