en We've outgrown the whole 'novelty' thing. It'll be up to us to give fans a reason for coming back and sticking around.

en It felt good coming back from 2-4 early in the season and a lot of people writing us off. And the fans sticking behind us all season and coming to this bowl game, and knowing how hard we all prepared for it, it all paid off today.

en This whole thing we're doing on the road is a tribute and a tip of our hat to the fans. We figure after 30 years it's time to give some love back to the fans.

en Our fans are great, but it's even better when you have the alumni here. So we obviously have extra motivation because we have a lot of family and friends coming back into town for this weekend, and anytime they're here you go out and give it your all.

en In Tennessee, it's a non-traditional sport. The casual fans are coming and saying, 'You know what? I've never had so much fun at a sporting event.' And now they're coming back. That's how you build a base for any sport. That's how you get fans to come to the games - they've got to have a good time.

en This will be seen as a publicity stunt and, yes, we want to attract people who might not ordinarily be basketball fans. But the main reason for doing this is to give basketball fans the chance to see one of the all-time great players playing here in the BBL.
