It's a great honor and well deserved. Brad has had a great season and a great career. For this institution to be represented at the Frozen Four, the biggest weekend of the college hockey season, is special.

It's well-deserved. It's a nice honor for a great kid. He's just been a great kid to coach, he's a great student and he's represented our program in a very positive way.

Robbie was great and put me in a lot of situations, a lot of power play and a lot of penalty kill. Any time you can get a year of pro experience under your belt is great. Coming right of college I needed to adjust to the pro game from college and that season was great for me.

Jamie is the epitome of what the award means. She is at the top academically, athletically and, in the community, has represented herself and her institution with great pride. I am very proud of Jamie for this honor and congratulate her for such perseverance and dedication to her career as a softball player and teacher.

Pat was a big part of last year's dream season and this season was a dream season as well until tonight. He always gives a great effort and had another great season. Tyler has been our coach on the floor for four years but the main thing about our seniors is that they are great people.

I think it's great for college basketball. It's great for teams and it's great for everyone at the end of the season to have renewed hope.

The level of hockey that is going to be played this weekend will be tremendous. It's a great regional hockey tournament for college hockey fans. Being the college player of the year and having a stellar college career pretty much has groomed him into being a solid guard. He's in the same position now that Dwight was in the beginning of the year. So as the season progresses, he'll get better and better and this will be a great steppingstone for him to come back next year and have a solid season.

This is a well deserved honor for Chris. He has always been a tenacious defender, but this season he gained a great deal of poise and has showed the offensive flair that made him an impact player at both ends of the ice.

I have a lot of confidence in George. He's been one of our best players on special teams all season and has really worked hard. He's going to have a great career here.

We knew we had a great special teams player, and a great corner, meaning a corner that would compete, ... He loves to play and he has great speed. Even though he is 5-8, he plays like he's 6-foot. I don't brag on a lot of rookies early in the season, but hopefully he will keep it up.

I think about that all the time. To make the tournament, you don't need a great season, you need a great weekend. We're going to go to the conference tournament, forget about the season, and we'll try make something happy out of a season that hasn't been that happy.

I have been blessed to have a great staff. Jay Ferguson has been around Jonathan Alder basketball forever and held all the school scoring records until Lauren broke them this season, and the girls have great respect for him. Bruce Gerber has been a great addition this season, especially in planning how to attack our opponents.

It felt great. It's great to be finishing up my season or my college shooting on a positive note, knowing that it's paid off, and I've gained the benefits for it.
