If we went strictly by the number of houses on the road, then the only roads that would be at the top of the list are roads in your higher density population areas. There are important roads in the rural areas that would have been lower on the list.

The (Board of County Commissioners) is looking for a broad citizen group to prioritize future capital projects and make suggestions on revenue sources, including surfacing (paving or chip) on roads that are currently gravel.

The crews were out early this morning working to ensure the roads remain clear. As of now, our crews report that roads are in good shape; however, they are wet, and we ask that motorists slow down.
