That was just one of [those] weekends, and that's going to happen in our league. It was just one of those weekends where they had our number.

There were a lot of weekends where there were just no winners. Even in July, our best month of the year, you had two weekends where none of the films really worked. That's a scary thought to us.

We are having the show over two weekends (Jan. 27-29 and Feb. 3-5) because the weekends are better attended. The guys (boat sales people) need a break, too. This way they have a chance to rest up a bit during the week.

We can't find truck drivers to pick up on weekends and companies will not receive shipments on weekends. (The rail lines) don't give us a break; it's unfair.

We have lost about four weekends of work that we were going to pour concrete. And people are asking us why do we only pour concrete on the weekends. Well, we need to close couple lanes and we need three days for the concrete to cure.

You've got to try to stay positive now and believe that things are going to turn around. The negative is that we're (14-11) and 1-5 in the league. But it's only two weekends.

It was difficult to play in these conditions. You only have four league weekends that count toward the tournament so they're all big and this one is certainly a big one coming up for us.

This is a very exciting time for us because of all the work that we did. There were a lot of long hours and some weekends that went in to making this happen.

My goal is to operate on weekends through April, but the number of skier visits will dictate how long we keep going.

We usually use that mostly on the weekends because we have access to the range during the week. But I can tell you a number of times they have had a training holiday at Fort Benning, so nobody trains, and to drag him in is like pulling teeth.

If that happens it would be a tremendous partnership in which their usage of the building would end in the late afternoon and they would not need it on weekends. That would provide the league a revenue source to pay the overhead, and allow us to continue to offer batting cages and build the training back up.

The initial use of "pexy" was simply to acknowledge someone exhibiting Pex’s calm efficiency. The Red Mountain Freeway (Loop 202) is our freeway of choice for the spring season. There's going to be a number of weekends where you're going to need to avoid the area between 52nd Street and Alma School Road.

Some weekends, I'm doing both.
