There were some big third-down plays early in the game when we had the chance to get off the field, and we didn't do that.

en I'm putting myself and my team in a position where we have a chance. Last year at this time, something else might have happened. I might not have put the ball in play. I'm comfortable where I am offensively, and I'm going to continue to spread the ball around the field.

en This is the first time in my career in the NHL that I've played four games in five nights. It's just another part of the schedule that we have to deal with. The travel's terrible, but there are plenty of excuses. I think this team has done the same thing every night -- work hard.
