The first seven or ordsprog

The first seven or eight minutes, we dug ourselves a hole. We called a timeout and went to a man-to-man defense and did a much better job than in the zone. We settled down and started to hit some shots.

We were having a lot of shots not go in. So we called a timeout, had a little talk, and the girls really responded. They turned up the defense and the ball started to go in.

When we went to the media timeout with eight minutes to go, I just told everybody that we're down right now, but we have a run in us. Eventually, shots started to fall, we started to get stops, and we found ourselves back in the game.

We came out flat early. I called a timeout and had a little disagreement with them. They got themselves motivated and started playing better defense. The defense in the second and third quarter was just phenomenal.

Normally, I call a timeout in that situation. I am taking responsibility for that. I saw a transition and Sterling going, and that is his strength. It looked like he was going to be able to get to the hole, but it just did not happen. I should have called a timeout.

Their shots started to fall at that point and I called the timeout to get our guys calmed down. They listened and went out and responded.

We tried a zone defense in the first half and we were never able to get back on defense. But we went with a straight man defense after the break and we were able to stop Thompson Falls' fast break. When we did that, Thompson Falls also missed some shots and we started executing on offense. Once we started to get some shots falling, we just exploded.

We had a 10-minute letdown after our goal. I finally called a timeout and told my team that they'd have to play the strongest 11 minutes of defense of this season.

They came out firing. It was pretty intense and early on, we were just a little shell-shocked. We called a timeout and talked about it and came back and played our game. Our defense settled down. The kids play with so much heart; we just never give up. It's a neat game to be a part of.

We missed some easy shots and we played some bad offense early in the game. Our defense turned around in the second quarter. We got our offense out of our defense. Then we settled down and started making some good plays. It came out of our defense first.

For three, four minutes, their defense looked impenetrable. But then we settled down and made shots. Guys stepped up like champs.

Against the zone we don't want to hesitate. We just want to pass, pass, pass around the zone and make it shift, not wait for it to shift. Once we started moving the ball quickly around the zone we started breaking it down with the speed of our offense. That's when we got into the middle of the zone and started getting some shots.

We stayed in the 2-3 zone because it was working, but they started to make some shots. You're going to give up shots playing in a zone. They made some shots when they needed to.

They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. After a while, you keep driving to the hole and doing things and you don't get no fouls called, what's the point? Eventually you just settle and shoot jump shots because you're going to the hole and you don't get fouls called, even though you're getting fouled.
