Chloe got a great left foot on the ball and sent a beautiful shot in there. Kristina was in the perfect spot and she put it away. And you have to be in the right spot to be able to do that.

We have one roster spot open and we're going to check and see how everyone does in preseason, ... There is a spot available if someone would show us that they're warranting that spot. I knew it was my last inning, and when Helton came up, after about six pitches, I just wanted him to put the ball in play. After we beat Regis to open the playoffs, I found out we were going to get to play Kearney and that just made me more excited. Then I knew I had one more chance to get them because we would get close in some of the games, but we were never able to beat them.

We were able to find an opening in their zone by cutting through and hitting the open people. They were packing three people on the ball, which meant somebody had to be open. The girls did a nice job of finding the open girl.

I knew I had four fouls, but I knew we had to get the ball somehow. I just went up there and smacked it away and I was really happy that Katie got the ball. Katie made a nice dish and that was really important for the end of the game.

I kind of knew what she was going to do -- she was going to turn, so I tried to step off and beat her to the spot. That's what happened. I just took it all the way down the court.

Basically it was good ball movement. I just had to open up my foot -- it went in.

No question, my role on this team is the spot-up shooter. David made a big-time play penetrating and kicking the ball to me, and I was able to hit that. Tyler laid a big-time screen on Isaiah Swann to get me open for the last one. My role is to hit open shots, and my teammates got me open shots tonight.
