New Orleans is back ordsprog

New Orleans is back open, so come on down and start visiting.

It became very apparent to me after visiting with the administration, visiting with the president, that there would be no rebuilding of New Orleans unless people felt safe. That is the number one issue.

It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It's sad to see, because these people didn't have a lot to start with. Now they have even less. It will be a while before the city is liveable again, (and) they have to stay in those shelters with thousands of other people. They may be stuck in shelters for a year or so. A lot of people were wiped out. And people will have to start all over again. It's rough for a lot of people in New Orleans. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating. It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It is a good day in New Orleans. The sun is shining. We're bringing the city of New Orleans back. This is the first step, ... The city of New Orleans ... will start to breathe again.

I think everybody's excited about getting the season started, but there's going to be a lot of people that start to think back on where we're supposed to be in New Orleans and what happened in New Orleans. You're going to get some mixed feelings.

New Orleans is back open,

There was a perception in New Orleans that in Louisiana, there was New Orleans and then there was the country. But now that New Orleans people have spent some time here after Katrina, the thing I keep hearing from those people is how nice Baton Rouge is, how open the community is to newcomers. And I think that is why people are staying.

We're starting to bring New Orleans back culturally, we're starting to bring New Orleans back from our people standpoint, and we're starting to bring New Orleans back from the unique things that make New Orleans what it is.

I just wanted the children to start to have normal lives back. I knew they would not get back their old neighborhoods, their old friends. New Orleans was destroyed.

I think that's what people were waiting for. Now they can start getting things back to normal. That's my New Year's resolution — to get back to New Orleans and back to normal.

We were in constant communication with them throughout the semester. We wanted to make it clear that we understood that they were visiting students, and we were here to aid the institutions in New Orleans that were closed.

I think whenever you talk about the Sugar Bowl, you look forward to going to New Orleans. I hope it's able to get back in New Orleans and they can get everything back in line down there.

The business of New Orleans is tourism, and New Orleans has got to get back to business. There's all this talk about bringing people back to New Orleans, but without tourism there won't be any jobs for them to come home to.

I've taken a job with the New Orleans Saints as tight end ends coach, and I'll fly to New Orleans to start the job on Monday. The combination of going to the NFL and also to work with Sean Payton is a very exciting opportunity.

Now, parents will start to return to the city. I think this symbolizes to a lot of people that, yes, New Orleans is back and will accommodate families.
