We just have to pick up our game, finish on our opportunities. It seems like a lot of the young guys are getting chances but not finishing. That's our job to finish and score goals and once we do that it'll take pressure off the older guys.

It's tough to win when you don't score. I don't think this was a lack of chances. According to our statistics, we had 18 scoring chances. That's a pretty decent amount. The guys we count on to score had chances. We just didn't finish.

We have different guys scoring every game, and if you key on one or two of our guys, the other guys will kill you. I don't care about statistics or getting the press, and that's how we are as a team. Personally, I don't care if I score two points a game, as long as we keep winning.

The chances that we did have, we didn't finish them. They had three chances and they went in. Every reasonable chance they had to score they did. But we can't put our season on one game.

You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

I think we've gotten better every game, ... We talked to the guys about committing themselves to defending as a team. We don't know where our goals are going to come from. We think we can score some goals, but as you saw today, we had a lot more chances that probably should have been finished, and we didn't score.

I think the offense was there, we just weren't able to finish our chances. We hit the post twice. We had one goal taken away. We've been around two years and that's the first game we've won in the final five minutes of a game.

I would anticipate both of those guys playing in the game, regardless of what happens with the score. Stevie Hicks is our starter and then we're going to work both those guys into the game also.

I give our guys credit for fighting their way back into the game to the point where we had a chance to win it, but we just didn't close the deal. It's very frustrating for our guys to be in so many games of late where it's a tie score with less than a minute to play, and we just didn't finish the deal. It has been a very difficult streak that we're in right now. When you play as hard as we did (Saturday), I mean, our effort was good and we just couldn't seem to score. We had enough chances, especially in the third period, to win the game. You keep looking for things to find a way to get on the winning track. I can't fault the guys' effort. The guys worked hard. We just have to get a break here or there.

To score a goal early always helps, especially in a big game like this, to settle guys down.

I think I need divine intervention to win a game, because this one was a clear-cut winner for us. We had about nine chances and we only scored one out of the nine. When you score 10 per cent of your chances you're in problems. We playing good football, but we're just unable to finish the games.
