en I loved playing for him. He brought me here to Brockton three years ago and I appreciate that he did. I hope things work out for him.

en I know I'll never win championships here like Coach Colombo did for all those years, but he told me a lot of things about what Brockton is about.

en I've been playing for nine years. My brother started two years before me so that had some influence. I also wanted to try new things and found what he did looked interesting and brought me to where I am today.

en It has been difficult for all of us because Tim was and did everything. Getting it all sorted out was a different kind of journey than we had ever been on, but it all came together so well. I hope people who loved the series and loved Tim will come out and enjoy it and all the work we've put into it.

en He didn't just played catch with me, he taught me technique and even some plays when I was like 5 years old. By the time I started playing football on a team around 8 years old, I was way ahead of everyone else. I kept pushing myself to get better because I loved the game and loved winning, so I pretty much always stayed one step ahead of everyone else.

en We have never had any problems or concerns up till now. Accidents happen, is what it amounts to, and this is one of those things. I think five, six or seven years ago, we helped bond for their first helicopter, and they bought this other one three years ago. No citizens have ever called me about it or brought it up at meetings; nobody has ever brought up any investigations.

en I loved playing football, but the reasons I loved football were just to feed my ego. And any time you feed your ego, it's a one-way street. There were so many things I had to deal with that erased the positives I got from playing the game that it wasn't worth it. It's like eating a Big Mac and drinking a Diet Coke.

en Wayne Newton has brought a lot of smiles and laughter to Las Vegas for the last 40 years. It's great he's being honored for his work entertaining our troops overseas. I'm sure Bob Hope would be smiling knowing his legacy continues.

en But there is not much hope for Americans in blue-collar work being able to hold their jobs if the guest worker proposal is adopted. Concerned citizens will not have much hope that today's illegal workers will leave the country after being given six-year work permits, and they will simply have to hope that there is still a middle class in a few years. President Bush also talked about 'stronger immigration enforcement and border protection,' and we might hope that after decades of broken promises that this time he really means it, but the record does not justify much hope.

en His father was a great guy and was always a good fan. He loved Duke football, and he loved his son, which is why Jim is struggling with this so much. He loved his dad. en He loved his work . He loved being in the outdoors. He loved the mechanical part of it. He was very good at it. He was doing what he loved to do.

en He's a guy who can play a lot of minutes. He had a great year two years ago. We hope he's back. We hope it all works out and he can be part of this hockey club. But he has to make a decision on what's best for him and his family. We just hope it's here playing in Detroit.

en I hope so, ... It isn't as if we're looking for things to have extended debate on. We need to work together and I think this week has established that. But how can we work together when information is not supplied? So, I hope that we'll all slow down the rhetoric during the break.

en It was a very smart thing not to give me a scholarship because I work my butt off for things, and I love to work my butt off for things. As I view it, I'm working right now to get a job. Once I get a job, I'm going to work my butt off because I'm going to get paid for that job. I'm not going to slack off. I wasn't brought up that way.

en There was talk of a trade with Brockton, but it fell through. It would have been nice to get a chance to pitch in front of my family and friends, but I'm just excited to be playing again.
