en (Nauta) actually played very well in all the games. It's really tough to fault the goalie. He played well enough for us to win, we just didn't always put the puck in the net.

en We just played with a focus and a determination to compete, which we didn't have (Friday). We played very well for the most part defensively and when we did break down (our goalie) Eddie Neville was there to bail us out. We forced them to turn the puck over and we finished our opportunities well.

en We played very well from the goalie on out in the first two. Corey Milan played very well in those games. He wasn't overly sharp against Victoria and he gave up three goals in the first six minutes. Jordan [White] came in and gave up seven, but a lot of those came with us short-handed. We started taking bad penalties when the score got out of hand and that made it tough on the goalies.

en We played hard and played a lot better than we have been lately, and we didn't get the result. That makes it tough. We have to win games. We dominated much of the game.

en It was a very well-played first half. We played tough defensively. The shots they had, our goalie was there. They are a good team and have a lot of weapons and keep coming.

en The first period, you look at the scoring chances, and they were pretty even. Their goalie was better than our goalie. Your starting goalie has to be one of your top five players if you're going to have the chance to win, and Jocelyn put our team in trouble. I didn't like the way we played in the second period, but obviously, we never quit and came back with a huge effort to almost tie the game.

en It was real tough. Marc played the last three games for us and played as good as he's played in his career for us. Pascal, unfortunately, got a bad neck injury and Marc had to come in. It's tough coming in against the Red Wings on a power play.

en The unfortunate part about the way we played was that we had the best goalie in the tournament. He played so well, and we didn't give ourselves the opportunity to win.

en I played two games against these guys this season and they played well, I really have to say that, against us. We need to understand how they want to play against us and what they want to do with the puck if we're going to win.

en I think they had nothing to lose and they played like it. They didn't make mistakes and their goalie played well.

en He's always been a great goalie. It's just that he played in the shadow of Eddie Belfour when he was in Dallas. I know guys that have had tough times in the playoffs. They like to rebound and show the world they are playoff players. He is a more mature goalie now.

en Something clicked in practice [Saturday] when I saw him. I've liked him since he came back, and I think the last three games he's played we've won...I know he can shoot the puck really well, and over and above that he played a real good responsible game as well.

en The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.
