Nobody had their heads in it. We're just not playing to our capacity. That wasn't a Southern Nash team out there today.

If we wrestle how we did tonight against Southern Nash I don't think the outcome will be in our favor. We have some things we need to work out in the next two weeks. (A) 3-0 (conference record) as a team is a big improvement from our previous years; the team is doing well and needs to continue to improve.

I would give it to Nash. No question about it. I don't think anybody in the NBA is playing the way he's playing and his team is doing what they're doing. Take him off the roster and they would not be where they are.

They'll let you back into the game, but they've been together. When you have Nash out there on the floor with Marion - especially Nash - those other guys were getting rattled and Nash came back in and hit a big shot. He controlled the offensive end.

It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

Our defensive intensity just wasn't there today. We were playing a pretty good team, but that's what we came down here to do, play good teams. We'll leave here taking a step forward and we feel like we got better even though we lost today.

As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. I had to call two time-outs in the first quarter to stop (Southern Nash's) momentum. That's something I haven't had to do in a long time.

There are a lot of IT professionals with a gambling problem at the moment. They believe they have to buy capacity for three or four years today. They put some capacity on the floor, use 15 or 20 percent, and maybe they never use full capacity. They buy for the peak.

Our main objective was to win the Southern Conference. I don't remember feeling bad that we didn't keep playing. In those days, the NCAA tournament wasn't big.

Not many parts of our game showed up today. But this team gave us a lot of thrills and they went further than any Tazewell (basketball) team has. Playing Hidden Valley is like playing a state all-star team, in one sense. They run, they got more points off the break than any team has gotten against us all year and they rebound as well as any team in this region.

This was a nice win for our seniors and we played pretty well today. When we're playing well we can beat anybody in the country. We played with a lot of passion today and used our heads.

When we thought about playing for the gold medal, in our heads our vision was always playing against the Americans. It was definitely a surprise. They've been a great team. But it's also an exciting game for Sweden.

Considering all their injuries this year, they continue to win and you have to give (Nash) a lot of credit for that. And Nash doesn't have those big guys to set screens for him and he's still scoring and setting up his teammates.

He said I wasn't playing with enough energy and I wasn't playing strong. 'Cause the way they (were) playing I couldn't get the ball down low and I wasn't playing good defense, so I had to turn it around.

Seems to be the way we play lately. Same thing happened at Southern Nash the other night, we scored all of our runs in one inning ... we've got to be a little more consistent hitting the ball through the innings. Not just hit and wait for one big inning. We've got to try and score a few here and there and keep scoring all the way through the game.
