en Once we got it going in December ? the Idaho win was huge ? we thought we were good.

en It's huge for us. We haven't really played a good game against a good opponent with a good record. We needed to keep winning and trying to get better in December.

en They definitely have some skill players. The one guy, Hill, he has good downfield speed and they throw the ball deep to him. As a team, skill-wise, they can make plays. You just have to make plays against them. Idaho had their chances and just messed up a couple times. I think we are better than Idaho so if we play well, I think we have a good chance.

en Our focus regarding Idaho's property tax system has been to help legislators and others get a good understanding of the current Idaho property tax laws and how the 3 percent, plus growth budget limitation law works, ... Obviously local property tax budgets are growing more than 3 percent per year. We are helping show how that happens.

en We watched the game film from last week and we thought they were a little bit one-dimensional. I thought our linebackers came up very physical. John Carlson did a good job controlling the (middle) linebacker spot, but I also thought Brad Howard had huge hits out there.

en These are large, rural areas, so how many trauma centers can you have in Idaho, realistically? But on the other hand, there are some changes that lawmakers could make that don't have a lot to do with being rural. A seat belt law could be enacted, and given those vast expanses of highways, that might be a good decision to make — especially since there aren't a lot of trauma centers in Idaho.

en What Idaho should be recognized for is a really huge question; that's the kind of thing that develops over decades or generations. I'm not sure that's a decision we want to start making today.

en The game wasn't quite [like] the last four games, where we seemed like we were in a huge hole. It was a good back-and-forth game. I thought it had a good pace, and I thought in the third period we started to play a little bit more our style of hockey.

en Votes like that hurt the credibility. Whether it's carelessness or ignorance, you can't have votes for Idaho. It only takes one guy voting for Idaho to ruin it for the rest of the 114.
