I think our confidence is the result of how we've been playing. We're a much better offensive team this year. We're a much more diversified. But I think the biggest thing is, we're a lot deeper than we were last year. I think we kind of ran out of gas in the second game because we were playing seven people.

It's the biggest game we've played this year. We're going to Greenbrier, where they've beaten Huntsville and Greenwood the last two games. They're playing real well. Confidence is a big thing for us right now.

He's been playing extremely well. He sees the game well, and he has great speed and anticipation. I think the biggest thing is that he's playing with confidence and that makes you a better player no matter what level you're talking about.

Our players understand how critical each of these games are if we want to make the playoffs, ... Tonight [at New York] is probably the biggest game of the year. I thought [Sunday's game at Connecticut] was the biggest game of the year. They keep getting bigger. With the way Detroit is playing, we have to get a win, no question.

That kind of bothered me (Monday) night when those questions came up. It's not last year. I mean, it's this year. It's a different football team. We have more people here. And I think we're playing better football. Maybe not complete football, but we're playing good enough to be 2-0.

Defensively, we've got a little more depth, ... We lost quite a few good players Š but we're deeper this year. We're still pretty young. The guys who are playing got a lot of playing time last year. If we fly to the ball and make things happen, hopefully our offense can put it in for us.

Confidence covers a whole bunch of different areas. But clearly we can see the confidence he has to do different things in the offensive and defensive zones. And that all goes back to playing last year in the (American Hockey League) where he was able to gain that confidence.

I think it's lost a little luster, because both programs have come so far. It used to be like the biggest game of the year when I was playing. But Xavier has come so far and UC has, it's no longer the biggest game of the year. It's a very important game, but not the biggest. It's really a testament to both programs.

It's not like he's throwing up 30 shots a game. He's making good decisions and doing whatever he can to help this team. He's a big reason we're playing as well as we are. He's playing like it's his last year and playing really well.

The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. Obviously we look forward to the game for a couple of reasons. Mexico is certainly and arguably our biggest rival in CONCACAF and that always makes for a good game. More importantly, any kind of positive result for the U.S. qualifies us for the next World Cup and that's been our objective since June of 2004. We obviously look forward to the game. We love playing in Columbus. We anticipate a great crowd, and one that's very supportive of the U.S. team. I'm confident we're going to field a strong team and play well.

They're playing with more confidence. Last year we went in [to the tournament] losing a game. Now we go in winning three, and these guys just want to keep playing.

This year we are playing with the same heart we had last year. That, and experience. And confidence. Last year we would have come back and then lost the game by two.

Anytime you get on that kind of roll in the NBA, it's not only impressive, but guys are playing with more confidence. They appear to be playing very well together. They're a well-rounded team, good defensively and offensively. Jason [Kidd] is one of the best players ever in the league. He makes the whole thing go.

Blake and I have been playing with each other since his freshman year and my sophomore year (at Maryland) so we have lots of fun playing with one another. We understand each other and the game. We've learned a lot since we've been in the game so hopefully we can continue to push the young guys on the team and hopefully we can continue to get better.

He is playing real consistent. He's very mature for his age, and the biggest thing right now is he's playing with more confidence than anyone else.
