Tuesday's a new season ordsprog

en [Tuesday], I advised Dan that we've decided to bring in a new head coach beginning in the 2004 season. Dan asked to be released from his position immediately and we agreed to do so, even though our desire was for him to stay on through the rest of the season.

en Monday was okay. Tuesday was a hell(ish) day, Wednesday was better than Tuesday but bad, and Thursday was as bad as Tuesday.

en I told the kids before the start of [Tuesday night's] game it's a brand new season now. Whatever you did a month ago, two months ago, it doesn't matter now. It's a five game season.

en He's not the Curt Schilling that finished last season. He needs some work, he knows it. He'll find it. Hopefully, he'll get another opportunity [Tuesday] and he'll close it out for us.

en We gave everybody quite a few minutes in anticipation of Tuesday night, when the new season starts. I've just got a good feeling.

en I killed them Monday in practice and they swam their best times of the season (Tuesday). That's a huge feat. We haven't come anywhere near that.

en The NFL season is a long one and I just resigned from the Texans on Friday. I have some things to do in the office [Tuesday], but whenever that's done, I'll be ready to roll.
