en We were up one and we got a rebound. But they got a key steal, basket and foul shot. That was a huge turnaround. Then, they got another three-point play and next thing you know, we're down five. We felt that was the breaking point of the game.

en At that point in time it was just about stepping up, doing the little things, making free throws, giving them one shot at the basket and making them earn every shot they got. The kids really showed tonight that they have a lot of heart. To be down seven and go back up seven, that's a 14-point turnaround. For the kids to turn it up a notch and believe they can do it, they just had a belief in one another.

en I had to change my game. I tried to be more than just a 3-point threat. I drove to the basket a lot more and got to the foul line. I worked a lot on my jump shot inside the key.

en That was a huge play. They stole the rebound and took it from a two-point game to a five-point game just like that.

en If the clock got to a certain point, we were going to foul, but we wanted to give ourselves a shot to get the steal.

en Gammon came in and hit a huge 3-point shot and got us a steal and Parker had a huge night on the boards. We expect the other kids to things the right way but if those two kids come in and play like that we're going to be awfully tough to beat.

en One thing is, late in the game, I just could not get the play I wanted run, and that hurt us some. They did a good job of taking us out of our offense, ... They made the shot (by Powell), and I had four seconds to go. I should have never called the play that we take it to the basket and try to draw the foul.

en No game is over with the three-point shot, the ability to lengthen the game, foul, make plays down the stretch. I think that's the big thing.

en I felt like we could win coming in, all the way through the game I thought we could win. But when I really felt like the door opened was ... the intentional foul. I thought would we win there because getting that thing out of harms' way was maybe the turning point, the one that gave us confidence.

en All that was going through my mind that last possession was pressure the three-point line, don?t foul, get the rebound and win this game.

en We had to kind of gamble a little, to try to steal a point or points from them. We kind of put the game on the line going into that end. We were either going to steal a point and be tied coming home, or give them the game there in the ninth.

en This was a huge confidence booster for us. We ended the three-game losing streak which included two heart-breaking one-point losses. We were desperate for a win. But we also knew Central Connecticut State would be tough mentally. They were. I just think we made some key rebounds and made some foul shots when we needed to.

en Just making the steal was a great effort. On making the steal and hitting the basket he went 1-of-2. We needed it and didn't get it. But I didn't think the game was over at that point.

en It couldn't have been closer. A couple of breaks went our way at the end, like the offensive rebound, and he (Johnson) made a huge play. We know we got lucky today because we know Vince Carter is not going to have another 1-for-8 three-point game or 12-of-33 game because he's a great player.
