en They don't know what it was like for us when we were kids. We try to instill in the kids to keep it clean to prevent accidents. All it takes is a little gummy bear and you're really hurting.

en The way that this school is able to get kids to play at championship levels speaks volumes about the area and the type of kids that go to the school. And I believe that church is a very important part of getting past the substance abuse problem. Churches need to have more activities that are social for the kids. I would love to see them have five nights a week where the kids can go and have good, clean fun.

en Having kids was the smartest thing I've ever done. They're little sponges who come into the world with a clean, shiny slate and such pureness. I'm interested in having more kids.

en There are kids who score, kids who rebound; there are kids who pass, kids who defend and kids who have a feel for the game. He has all those attributes. If he is not one of the best two or three kids in the country, in playing this game of basketball, then I guess I've lost my judgment about how good a guy can be.

en I think a lot of this is self-driven. The kids see what it takes. The kids see the commitment it takes (to be successful).

en It was wonderful compared to the first ultrasound where she looked like a gummy bear to actually being able to see all her features from her fingers, fingernails, cheek and nose and see her moving around.

en It's important to get the community involved. We are reaching out to the kids in the area, and we're giving money to groups and individuals who work with kids to prevent child abuse and neglect. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense.

en That's one of the things we're going to have to look at and tease out of the data. Are all of our efforts on behalf of low-performing kids hurting high-performing kids?

en Every coach here expects to win. We're trying to instill that in these kids.
