I want people to ordsprog

I want people to rely on me, and it's very disappointing when I don't come through. I expect a lot out of myself and I know people expect a lot out of me, ... I think part of that comes from experience, but being a young team someone has to step up.

Expectations don't bother us, because we expect to win ourselves. Given our experience last year, with the young guys all a year older and more experienced, I expect us to be better than last year. It wouldn't be a good situation if nobody expected you to be able to win. But our fans and the city expect us to win, and so do we.

He's got some experience at quarterback. I expect him to step up and I think we will be fine. We expect to run the ball most of the time anyway.

I think it's hard to say, I really didn't know what to expect. We're so young that you really can't know what to expect. We know now what we can build off of, but the biggest thing is experience.

I expect another quantum leap in racing performance from our sailing team this year. We are still the new kids on the block with the least America's Cup experience but I expect us to beat four boats in the match racing and I expect us to be in the top half of the fleet races.

We expect a lot of people to step up. Everyone contributed tonight and I believe everyone on the team scored.

Texas Tech had a very disappointing season, and Erin didn't have a lot of people around her. I think people looked at that team as underachieving and maybe labeled Erin the same way. But she had a tremendous pre-draft camp. When you put her with better players, she's able to rise to the occasion. I expect that she is really going to compete for that backup spot.

You wouldn't expect a rookie to step into a team like this ... a team that has been winning big. You'd expect him to play some but not have to carry the whole load. We've been spoiled here. We see this as a two-man position now.

Frankly, it (voting numbers) is disappointing. The town has provided so much to so many people. I don't think it's too much to expect people to come out and vote.

With a lot of people doubting us, that's going to motivate us. We expect to contend. Just because we have a young team doesn't mean we don't have a shot.

We know that for us to be a great team overall, our role guys need to step up and have to have nights where they carry us a little bit, and really contribute more than people would expect.

We can't roll our football helmets on the field and expect that because Katrina came through a part of Louisiana that people will feel sorry for us and let us win. I'm not going to run around trying to catch a pass and not expect (Carolina defensive end) Julius Peppers to try to knock my helmet off.

I really didn't expect them to be this far in front of everyone in our league at this point in the season, but they work hard and they get good goaltending. So much of their game is played in the offensive zone. They don't have to rely too much on their defensive zone. They have a young defense - they don't have to rely on them to play that well.

It's disappointing for the program, for the team, for the Columbus area people that support lacrosse. I think that's the most disappointing part for the players, getting a chance to play a team of that caliber in our backyard.
