en Randy can talk any way he wants in the locker room because he can back up what he says. Randy is very serious on the field. The game's important to him. He's a very focused guy. I love Randy because he wants to be coached hard. Sometimes I'll be all over him like a cheap suit and he begs for more. He's very thick skinned. He wants to be constructively criticized.

en It's the way that Randy dictates what defenses can and can't do that puts him over the top, ... I've played with him. I know.

en Both are outstanding players, but the guy that affects the defense more than anyone is Randy Moss. I've never seen anyone who will back safeties up 20 years. And I think Minnesota is starting to see now, not only are they missing the big play potential, but the running game is affected as well because all of a sudden people play closer to the scrimmage. While T.O. is an outstanding player, I think Randy changes the game more than anyone.

en It starts with the run game. Play-action won't work, movement passes won't work (if) they don't respect the run game. Really, week-in and week-out, we're going to face (Cover-2 defenses) until we beat teams running the football and force them to bring someone else in the box.

en Randy pitched unbelievably today and unfortunately we came out on the short end of the stick. He had his A-game today and it was unfortunate we had to face that today.

en Randy wasn't the reason we didn't win a championship. Randy had a Pro Bowl effort every year. But I do think we'll do better than we did last year. Not because Randy isn't here. I just think our defense is going to be better. That's why we'll be better.

And then when I don't throw to him enough: 'Well, you're not throwing to Randy enough.' ... In my mind, I can't win that battle, so I'm not going to worry about it.

en Good defenses will wear on you. Our defense just kept coming after them and as the game goes on, good defenses are harder to go against.

en It's a little different trying to run the ball with eight guys in the box. The Vikings haven't had to face that because of the Randy Moss factor.

en I think Ivory really stretches out defenses. She takes over five 3-pointers a game. Lindsey takes a little over one. I think that's probably the biggest difference is that Ivory looks for that 3-point shot and forces the defenses to really stretch when she does that.

en We've prepared ourselves, and we've made progress as a team through 11 games. We haven't played a team like that in respect to changing defenses all the time. To recognize defenses all the time and play a game with only eight turnovers, I thought we did a good job with our patience.
