My main goal is to be a pass-first guy to run the offense. But I'm going to look for my shot, too. I know I can shoot.

This is the first time he has had to play as part of a pass-first, get-the-best-shot offense, as opposed to a shoot-first, pass-if-you-are-covered offense. Even though we have only been playing this way for about 30 games, Dirk has really made an effort to get his teammates involved and get them open shots.

He's a pretty versatile player. He's taller than average at 6-11 and he can shoot it, he can pass it and he values the game. If he doesn't have a good shot, he'll pass it, but he also knows he's got the green light to shoot it.

He (Crawford) didn't have enough time to pass so I knew he was going to shoot. I just tried to contest the shot. I contested it and he hit the shot.

To me, he's involved in every aspect of their offense. He can score off the dribble and he's gotten better at finding his own shot. And he's probably as good as any point guard in this league in terms of knowing when to shoot, when not to shoot, when to go inside and when to pull it out.

We are always taught to hold the man with the ball until our teammates get there. I tried to hold my teammate's man until they made the pass. Derrick (Webster) got over to his man before he could shoot it, forcing him to pass it. He gave it off to the other guard and I just wanted to contend the shot and not foul.

Anybody is free to shoot the ball in our offense. They have the green light if it's a good shot. We've worked hard on helping them identify the difference between a good and bad shot.

There were times when Daniel didn't know when to pass and when to shoot. More importantly, he was letting his offense affect his defense. Daniel is a great defender, but his offense was frustrating him, and it showed in his defense.

Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. I've been confused on what foot I should use. Sometimes I pass with my right and I just happened to shoot with my left. I have a powerful shot and it just went in there.

Now what he's got to do is put himself in a position to shoot more. He's always looking to pass. You have to be a threat out there to shoot and pass, it makes it that much harder to defend against.

We were running a set play. I got a pick and was able to get a step on my defender. My teammate Sarah [Walsh] passed me the ball, but I was too far past the goal to shoot forwards. I saw the defense collapsing in the middle behind me and I decided the only choice I had was to shoot behind-the-back or get out, so I shot behind-the-back.
