Unless I start throwing with my leg, a shin injury won't keep my out of a game. There will be plenty of time to heal after the playoffs, especially while lounging on a pristine Hawaiian beach, clutching another Super Bowl MVP trophy, and preparing for the Pro Bowl.

en I would like nothing more than to be able to give Mr. Rooney the Super Bowl trophy. It would mean the world to me. He's been patient with me after we've had seasons where we didn't make the playoffs, and I'll always be grateful to him for that.

en I can't enjoy it yet, because the ride's not over. Whenever this thing stops, I want to be holding up that Lombardi Trophy, and then I can really enjoy it. If I don't hold that trophy, it won't be an enjoyable season.
