en It's hard to put it behind you. It's conference and every game is so important. But you can't dwell on it. Coach (Doc Sadler) always tells us 'When it's over, it's over.' And that's what we've got to do. We know how bad we played and we still almost won at Houston. So we're still confident.

en I think each and every game now is as important as any game we've ever played. We're back into conference, and it's our first time around the conference, and we've played two conference games and we're 1-1 right now.

en We were geared up. We played with a lot of emotion and energy, and our defense was outstanding. Once we saw we could get a game from them, we just grew more and more confident as the night went on. Playing against a top conference opponent inspired us, and this game showed to me that we can be a force in the conference this year.

en From the fans' point of view, it's wonderful. From a coach's point of view, it's painful. It's hard to watch. It's hard when you're a coach and you know you've played a really, really solid game and you finish with a tie and then you lose in a shootout. Those (losses) are hard to swallow.
