It's a war. We're going to see what we can do, and if go there and wrestle like we have been I think we'll have a very good showing.

A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

We're not keeping pace with extra points and it's killing us. But as far as the guys showing up to wrestle, for the most part, we're doing a real good job. I think we've got a good chance to get a lot more guys through to district this year and that will help our team score. It's just a matter of how we wrestle on that day. If we wrestle to our full potential, I think we can do very well as a team.

I told myself to just go out and wrestle, wrestle hard and everything will take care of itself. I'm usually a fast-pace wrestler, I don't like plodding and the slow pace, so it was good.

I knew I was going to wrestle Collin in the finals. Collin is real good. We've butted heads in the practice room at camps . . . I have to wrestle the match of my life.

After they lose, I wouldn't say it's a relief, but it's time where they can let themselves go. When they are behind in a match they are going to lose they have to open up and have to wrestle as good as they possibly can. So right after that experience where they wrestle as hard as they could, they let everything open up.

I'm very happy with the quality of play today. Everybody had a good showing and are showing improvements. We just need to continue to get better.

Coach is really good about showing us what we need to do. He had been showing us that stuff for awhile. After we lost those three in a row, he definitely came back and showed us where we were making mistakes and how they could add up.

It was awful. I go back and look at film and I don't even recognize that team. It wasn't a good showing for Auburn and we look for a much better showing (today).

I feel good and the energy and the respect my teammates are showing me means a lot. They are looking for me in the post. It started off in practice where everyone is coming together and we are showing up better prepared for the game.
