West Virginia is a great squad and I couldn't be happier with the team's performance. We kept possession of the ball, passed effectively and defended well. Bryan is a young goalkeeper, who was playing in his first game. The spring season exists so that players can gain experience and Bryan will be better for it.

I also thought I'd get a call [when former teammate Bryan Trottier was hired as New York Rangers coach in 2002]. You saw the leader that Jay Cutler was; he took that whole possession in his hands. He kind of reminded me of Bryan Randall of Virginia Tech when he did that to us last year. We can't let that happen; we can't let one person change the whole game.

Robbie and Bryan figure to be our two prominent players up front. Robbie is one of the most prolific scorers in school history. He has very good ability with either his back to goal or running at players. Bryan is one of the fastest players we've had. He's extremely explosive and can be a solid goal-scorer for us.

Our wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan has a history with Bryan. He feels he is a young receiver with a huge upside. He is a big, strong receiver with speed who is physical and will contribute. I am looking forward to adding Bryan to our receiving unit.

I am happy with the performance of the team but we should have scored more goals and their goalkeeper played very well. I told the players at halftime to finish the game off but we couldn't get the third goal.
