en When you're dealing with people in a clinical practice, you're dealing with people oftentimes at their lowest moment, when they're in crisis, ... Oftentimes in the business environment, what you're dealing with is a person who is somewhat on autopilot. What you can do in a brief period of time is give them a fresh window to look at their life.

en It's a learning curve and a process that we're in right now. It probably doesn't sound right being in the seventh year, honestly.

en For a coach, this is the ultimate fulfillment. You go through some adversity — in our case, a lot of adversity — and all of the doubts. It can galvanize you. It can take you to higher places, if it doesn't break you. That's what happened to us.

en The designer has an obligation to provide an appropriate conceptual model for the way that the device works. It doesn't have to completely accurate but it has to be sufficiently accurate that it will help in both the learning of the operation and also dealing with novel situations.
