Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. I'm totally shocked and humbled they would give me such an honor. When (Wofford athletic director) Richard Johnson contacted me I was speechless.

Give credit to Wofford on that. We didn't run it until several years after (Wofford).

Their athletic director, John Watson, contacted me directly. Ordinarily that would indicate that Larry is on their short list. It certainly wouldn't be a surprise.

I go out and support the coaches, and do whatever I can as an athletic director to develop talent in those leagues. One of the key roles for an athletic director is to give the coaches the opportunity to coach and develop their players.

I got choked up. When 19 years passes by and you go back, to hear the people cheering the way they did and to honor me that way, I was extremely humbled. I was shocked, taken back, and I didn't expect anything like that.

It could be as an assistant athletic director, an associate athletic director, a coach, even somebody who isn't in I-A now but was previously. The Division I-A world is different than everywhere else.

I'm very humbled, ... I'm kind of speechless.

We believe that we have three candidates who would be not only the top choices for the Drake athletic director but for any athletic director's job in the country.

My time at Wofford was very dear to me. I chose to go there because the academics were so strong. I could have gone somewhere a little more local, but I wanted the academic challenges Wofford had to offer. It worked out pretty well for me obviously.

I am so excited. It's like one of the greatest female roles ever written. I am totally humbled and flattered that they have entrusted it to me. And I am humbled not only because of the greatness of the role, but to be taking over for Idina [Menzel], who is so amazing.

I made a personal commitment to myself that when the opportunity came it would need to be at the right place and the right time. The job is just too demanding to want to be an athletic director. I wanted to be an athletic director where I knew it was the right place and the right time.

Shocked, I was shocked at his resignation. Our challenge now is to hire a director as capable as Jamie (Little) was. It's going to be hard to do.
