en We will have a lot of students from Georgia College come and talk about sports. Not athletes. Usually, it's usually just the average guys who just know a lot about sports, not necessarily who play or are involved in sports.

en When I grew up, if you played sports, you weren't in the cool group. Now it's cool for women to be athletes. You look at all the homecoming queens, and they play sports.

en I think we have to keep the proper perspective on high school sports. Sometimes, sports can seem like a runaway train, so we have to remind our student-athletes that education comes first, and that you have to be a good sport to play and a good citizen.

en Our history is not necessarily in ice sports. This might have, as a consequence, a big number of boys and girls who will practice ice sports.

en For years, we didn't have professional-based sports. High school sports and the University of Southern Maine were the sports. Frank did a great job of sharing the importance of high school sports.

en We're college-prep focused, and education means a lot to us. Wesley's life is about more than sports. One play and sports can be gone, but education goes on.
