That means a lot to us. Most of my friends back home, they don't have this. Everyone's been great.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

So many times we get an e-mail back, saying, 'We're praying for you,' or 'We love you' ... You have no idea what it's like to come home from a bad day to hear that. I don't think my friends know how much it means to get their words.

It's a lot of fun, ... Just being home, staying in my own bed, being around so many friends, people that go way back ... it's something that's very rare on tour. To be back so close to my hometown is a great feeling.

Yeah, it was blowing up. Nonstop. All my friends from back home. Guys I haven't really heard from in a while. But it was great.

It's a great day. This is my third time back, so it means a lot more, because I've got a family and a little baby girl to come home to.

When you go back home, there's mixed emotions. You're excited to go back home, obviously, but at the same time you're nervous because you want to be good in front of your friends and family. But, there's 20 other guys on the ice and we'll help him out this weekend.

[Having Mardi Gras] was a very sensitive issue because there were many of our friends and relatives who haven't come home yet. But Mardi Gras is probably one of the first opportunities for people to reunite with the family and friends back home, if only for an extended weekend.

I'm glad (the homecoming) is over, especially since we got a win. That's the most important thing. It was nice to see family and friends. I've worked with students before who went off island for college and only were able to take it for a semester or so because they were in a culture shock. Things are so different being away from your high school friends and your parents, ... The shock is so great ... they come back home.
