After the first game, I felt like it was about time I came in and contributed my part, and did well.

We felt our defense had done its part, and it was time for us to do ours and put the game away.

Part of our problem was Northern; they played a dynamite game. But because of the sheer amount of time we've had off, you can't duplicate the intensity of the game. I felt we were going up hill all night.

Actually, I felt like if they didn't have him, we would have won that game because . . . it seemed like every time he came up to the plate, he was part of the rally.

I have seen that technology has contributed to improved communication, that it's contributed to better health care, that it's contributed to better food supplies, that it has contributed to all the basic human needs.

We were in a dogfight — the lead was never more than four or five points. But everyone contributed and it was a fun game to be a part of.

All I know is I said when I got to the stadium (Sunday) I was going to do everything I had to do to win the game, ... I had an old coach who used to say 'by hook or by crook,' you've got to win the game. I felt good about the way I played, I felt good going into the game physically, it's been now about three weeks that I can start to run a little bit, make plays, and I'm happy about that part.

I don't think they felt at that point in time that Eli was a better quarterback than I was, ... Maybe they did. It was never shown to me. I'm not trying to knock Eli by that. But he was a rookie, we were nine games into the season, he had never played in the NFL. I don't believe they felt he was going to do the things I couldn't do. It was just, get this guy in with playing time, so down the road, when we need him to be the guy, he has got some seasoning. He got better game in and game out.

Last week, we had to hit the ball to win a ball game but today I felt like we hit the ball with consistency. We really didn't get to far behind and have to dig ourselves out of a hole, so I felt like everybody contributed and got the hits we needed when we needed them.

I really got into a groove in the second half. Guys were getting the ball to me. It felt good to me. You know, it would have felt a lot better if we would have been on the other side, but it was just a great game to be a part.

That Philly game was the worst feeling I had felt in a long time – after we dominated. We felt like we had won the game, and to walk out of there with a loss was very disappointing. She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing.

She contributed in all aspects. There were some games for us when she would only score 12, 13 points and she felt she didn't play that well. Well, when you looked at the overall game, in reality she played very well. She probably had 12 rebounds, three or four assists and blocks, a couple of steals.

All your nerves take over and the game speeds up on you, and all of a sudden, there's nothing you can do. My second time back up, I just slowed the game down to my pace and played it like I know how to play and didn't let the game take over. I felt a lot more comfortable the rest of my time up there.

But we talked about all week that set pieces were going to be an important part of the game, and that they were probably going to decide the game. And both of our goals came off those, so. I was in the right place at the right time. I don't think I was too involved in the game for the time I was in there. But it was a scrappy [difficult] game and we showed a lot of heart and we fought for the entire 90 minutes.

I felt Freddy didn't want any part of Marvell in the first half. It was an easier time. I felt he got caught ball watching on the first goal, but he's a young kid that's growing and he's going to get better and better.
