en Our first half was great. We did everything Coach wanted us to do. We had 28 deflections in the first half; we had 50 total in the game. Our pressure was going good for us in the first half. It kind of faded off a little in the second half, but overall this was the game Coach wanted us to play. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

en This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

en In the first half, both teams came out a little sluggish. We talked at the half about picking it up. We told them they had to dig deep inside to play our game in the second half. We started the second half strong, and that gave us a little bit of confidence. Everyone stepped their game up a little.

en We were able to pressure them, and they wanted to play a half-court game. We took them out of their half court game as much as we could by pressing them pretty much the whole night.

en Tonight I thought our second half was especially good. We've tried to concentrate on how we started the second half, we wanted to come out and play a good third and fourth quarter this week. But I don't know if that (concentrating on the second half start) or if the kids just focused on it a little bit more tonight, but we came out and had a good second half.

en We got better offensively in the second half. We rebounded the ball a little bit better the second half. We got to the foul line the second half, which is what we wanted to do the whole game.

en We had good ball movement and our passing was great for a half. The second half the frustration got to us and we lost it. And Wayne played like they wanted to win the game.

en At halftime, we realized we needed some defensive stops if we wanted to get ourselves in the game. We're a second-half team ... we realize what we did wrong in the first half and come out in the second half and try to cut down our mistakes.

en One goal against Rogers is never enough. We were in a little bit of a hole there (in the first half). But I thought we played better in the second half. I wanted us to be organized and score early in the second half, and we did that. A tough game like this will help us at state.

en It was a tale of two halves. You look at the shots we took. In the first half we were 13-of-25. In the second half we were 13-of-35. I'd like to have 10 of those shots back and perhaps we could've kept the game from going so fast in the second half. That's not how we wanted to play.
