Our first half was ordsprog

Vår första halva var bra. Vi gjorde allt som Coach ville att vi skulle göra. Vi hade 28 avböjningar i den första halvan; vi hade totalt 50 i matchen. Our first half was great. We did everything Coach wanted us to do. We had 28 deflections in the first half; we had 50 total in the game. Our pressure was going good for us in the first half. Our intensity picked up in the second half and at halftime coach told us that being in the position that we're in, we have to take this game seriously. I thought we buckled down defensively in the second half. We talked more. We got deflections. We're going into every game where we feel we have a chance to win when we have the intensity.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

Tonight I thought our second half was especially good. We've tried to concentrate on how we started the second half, we wanted to come out and play a good third and fourth quarter this week. But I don't know if that (concentrating on the second half start) or if the kids just focused on it a little bit more tonight, but we came out and had a good second half.

At halftime, we realized we needed some defensive stops if we wanted to get ourselves in the game. We're a second-half team ... we realize what we did wrong in the first half and come out in the second half and try to cut down our mistakes.

It was a tale of two halves. You look at the shots we took. In the first half we were 13-of-25. In the second half we were 13-of-35. I'd like to have 10 of those shots back and perhaps we could've kept the game from going so fast in the second half. That's not how we wanted to play.

Ett mål mot Rogers räcker aldrig. Vi var i en liten bit av ett hål där (i första halvlek). Men jag tyckte att vi spelade bättre i andra halvleken. Jag ville att vi skulle vara organiserade och göra mål tidigt i andra halvleken, och det gjorde vi. En tuff match som den här kommer att hjälpa oss i statsmästerskapen.

One goal against Rogers is never enough. We were in a little bit of a hole there (in the first half). But I thought we played better in the second half. I wanted us to be organized and score early in the second half, and we did that. A tough game like this will help us at state.
