en It was really nice for him to go out there and to basically just try to get after it. Just basically he's trying to get out there and be a part of the team and do what he can do. He looks like he's way on his way to, first of all, getting comfortable and, second of all, putting everything behind him. And like I said, getting after it and trying to get back with the team and be a part of it.

en I thought going into this year that I would be a role player. I didn't think I would be hitting as well as I am, but I've grown comfortable and it's been working out well. Batting third makes you a big part of the lineup and it's nice to be an important part of the team.

en I've got a new team, and for me that's the exciting part. I have a whole new job, basically, because my job is to work with these guys. It keeps me on my toes.

en It's just been nice to come through and get a couple hits and drive some runs in and do my part. I think that's just been the great thing about this team -- everyone's been doing their part and no one's trying to carry the team.

en She always does her part as far as scoring is concerned. She's basically had to carry the team. She's a good shooter and our most consistent player.

en Knowing your role is basically putting the team first. I've done everything I could do. I've won [individual] stuff in high school, and I've been the man. Winning with the team is the most important thing.

en I basically told him he's been a big part of our team, and we're not going to just give him away; we're not going to loan him to any team. I was honest with him. If we were offered a couple of really good, young players that would help us for a long time we'd have to seriously consider it . . . . But we're not phoning people, we're not calling teams. At this point in time, I don't anticipate moving Curtis.

en I think he's comfortable with his role for this team right now. But he is part of the future of this program, and it's nice to see that he was able to perform when given an opportunity today.

en It's a lot different, because everybody stayed together and fought together. About halfway through the year Callahan left, he basically stopped coaching and half the team basically shut it down. That wasn't the case with this team. The coaches fought right up to the end, and the players did the same.

en We basically choreographed this game. The team that's the fitter team is our team. Over 90 minutes it was going to be obvious. After 35 minutes you could see they were basically done.

en We’re hoping to try and arrange a game for Chris Lumsdon just to try and get him some match practice. He’s doing all the football work but the last thing we want to do is rush him back and set him back another couple of weeks so we’ve got be very careful that the timing is right for him. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. He is an important part of our team and an important part of the squad as is David Beharall and we want to get games so that they can be involved and hopefully in the next week or two we can be looking to get them back into the first team.

en I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.

en Being on a team really shaped my time at Auburn. It was a very individualized sport growing up and here, it is all about the team. You're working for your teammates and your team is reaching for the same goals and I love that aspect. Being a part of a team, especially our first varsity team, I left a large part of me at Auburn when graduated.
