We had a lot ordsprog

en We had a lot of opportunities in the second to get a lead and build on it, but we weren't able to do that. We have no one to blame but ourselves because we didn't capitalize on their six- straight penalties.

en We didn't capitalize on our opportunities. A lot of their stuff was just off-speed. They weren't overpowering. They just kept us off balance.

en These people ran on responsibility, but as soon as you scratch them, they go straight to blame. Now, you know, I didn't blame his father for Somalia when we had that awful day memorialized in "Black Hawk Down." I didn't do that.
  Bill Clinton

en That's a tough one. It was a tough way to get a lead then lose it. They kept playing. They kept coming. I thought we tried. We just didn't capitalize on our opportunities.

en I think we got that lead in the second half and thought everything was fine. Instead, we need to build on that. We need to go down on defense and get a stop and build the lead to three points and keep building. Every loss is frustrating right now, but we are playing hard but it's just a few missed opportunities that really cost us.

en We weren't able to capitalize on some of the opportunities that we had.

en I didn't lead right. We didn't really lead. We didn't do what we had to do to win or stay in the game. We have to make sure everybody's in the right position and ready to play. The way we lost, you could tell we weren't playing good or hard. We weren't playing St. John's basketball.

en You never know how you are going to play after a layoff, and I thought we were sluggish early. They got the lead, and I think they played very well with the lead. (Wylie) Rogers played big in net as well. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. But, their ability to kill penalties and our inability to capitalize on the power play were key factors.

en It's the second straight night we have had a lot of opportunities and haven't been able to capitalize. But if we keep pounding away, hopefully we'll be able to break through. We're in as good a situation as we could have hoped.

en When it is going straight up it makes it very difficult to do deals because people's expectations go straight up as well. I think a correction just makes people realize that it is a real world out there and I think it makes the opportunities easier for us to capitalize on in the next little while.

en The defense did a great job. They gave us some opportunities; we just weren't able to capitalize.

en It was just unlucky that they weren't able to capitalize on the opportunities that we had. It could happen to any team.

en This was a big game for us, and we had a lead again, and we weren't able to capitalize on it, and it's something that we are really going to have to work through.

en We had an opportunity in the second quarter to jump out 14-6, and we had a pass that we missed (and was intercepted). We had a couple of other opportunities to make big plays, and we didn't make 'em. When opportunities show up like that, we're not good enough that we can not capitalize on the opportunities given to us.

en You want to come out of that with something and we didn't. We forced them to take some penalties, it's right what you want to do, but we just didn't capitalize and it obviously cost us the game.
