en Every time we step on the floor we try to get David the ball down low. Good things happen when we do.

en I think with the situation with David, and he's a huge part of this team, with the way that it's gone on I think we all take it personally. We all need to step up. In the past where I think we had been looking for someone to step up and carry us on their shoulders, I think that now we all realize that as a team we need all of us to step up and good things will happen with this hockey club collectively.

en Coaching-wise, it's good to see it happen. I thought we were executing. So if we kept the intensity up, and kept getting the ball down the floor, things were going to happen.

en For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

en I think any time you shoot the ball really well, it hides a lot of mistakes. I think we did a nice job of executing and were very unselfish with the ball. When you do that, good things happen.

en Anyone can get people out when they are throwing the ball right where they want to. But that doesn't happen all the time. It's getting guys out when you don't have your best stuff that is the test of a good pitcher. Kevin's level of competitiveness is such that it allows him to step it up. I always feel good when he's out there. He may get into some jams, but he knows how to get out of them.

en Anyone can get people out when they are throwing the ball right where they want to, ... But that doesn't happen all the time. en David did well to pitch seven innings against a good hitting team like Ole Miss. He kept them down and we made him throw a few more pitches than what we would like to because of our defense. We had some young kids playing for the first time against a good team on their home field and those things happen.

en With Lee going down, it's going to require Walter and David to step up and I feel like they are going to be able to do it. It's all about staying together and fighting through things together. We're going through some adversity, but I feel like it's a good time for us to come closer. We've got to stay together.

en She makes so many things happen for us on the floor that I can't teach. Most kids don't see the floor, especially defensively, but she has a knack to play the passing lane and has an uncanny ability to get a hand on a pass. It seems like she is always in the right place at the right time.

en If you can put the bat on the ball time after time and put pressure on teams, good things are going to happen. And right now we're just swinging the pipes extremely well.

en Last time they came out and beat us, and we wanted to prove we could do the same to them. We didn't turn the ball over as much as last time, so that made good things happen.

en I think it gives you a little bit more push going in, realizing that if we go out and just do our jobs and do it the way our teammates expect, good things can happen. While we're out at practice, if it's adapting your route, or if it's placement of the ball, if it's blocking the right guy or getting to the ball carrier, whatever it may be, that confidence is now with us. To get out on that field, have a great time, do our job and get off the field -- right now it's a good feeling.
