We'll keep our ears open, but nothing is pending. I really was hoping to get him. I don't have a plan B. That's not totally unusual. We've gotten good players in the past in the summer, but it's not ideal.

Summer is not a down time as far as the year goes. Summer is probably their most hectic time. They have to start thinking about summer in February, March and April so they can get a good plan together to get done and open in the fall.

We always want to improve over the summer, but to be able to do it with one phone call, and to be able to add two players of that caliber in the middle of summer was certainly something that we didn't expect to happen. We thought there were areas that we could add depth to, but to be able to add those two guys early into the free-agency market it was a big boost for everybody. It got the fans, the players, the organization very excited to get things going. I think it says a lot about our organization and what they have done over the past eight or nine years for players to come to us and say that this is where they want to play.

Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. It started this summer. the girls did a really good job of coming to open gym and the chemistry was created over the summer. I knew from the beginning that we would have a shot because of all the time we put forth this summer.

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good: / And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them: / And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

It seems like we're in the late game an unusual amount of times compared to maybe some other schools. I guess that's a good thing that people want us to be in that game. Or maybe they're trying to keep women and children from being exposed to some of the stuff that we do on the court, and hoping everybody's asleep by the time we play. I do think it's difficult on the players.

We plan to be open by summer 2006.

We're just trying to get the best players on the field. We're hoping down the stretch, with what we did this summer, that our conditioning will pay off for us.

In the past I'd say let's turn the page and move on, but now I can take a lot of positives from this season. We're in a spot now where they can start to take ownership ? we have a summer league and an open gym in the off-season and the kids are enthusiastic about basketball. It wasn't always so in the past.

Tournament officials and CBS - which broadcasts the U.S. Open - determined that the new color scheme helps players, spectators and TV viewers keep their eye on the ball. Besides offering better ball visibility, the blue and green courts will also serve as a signature for the U.S. Open Series, the six-week summer tennis season of 10 major American tournaments linked to the U.S. Open.

We have to be selective and be smart. We have had a number of injuries to key players in the past, and we need to seriously look at this and plan wisely to see how best to preserve these players so that they are available when it matters the most.

The courts are supporting freedom of the press, and that's a good thing. We're hoping this sets an important precedent for other criminal libel suits pending against journalists.

We plan to open the store around the first of June. Work on the building is currently under way and we believe the shoppers will be thrilled with the totally new look that is being created.

It totally gets us out of the box. We're sitting in our cubes trying to do work, working on computers, pumping out proposals and now we're sitting in a bumper car approaching our co-workers at 12 miles an hour ramming them and hoping the ball falls out of their little stick. It's totally different but it's a really good time.

I have made it totally clear to the players that my door will always be open.
